- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/4 cup self-raising flour

Instructions
- Cream the margarine and sugar until it’s all light and fluffy.
- Crack the egg, pour the vanilla, and mix it up like a pro.
- Sift the flour for smoother results.
- Add the milk a bit, stirring until it’s smooth.
- Spoon the batter into cupcake liners.
- Pop them in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes. Go ahead, set a timer.
- Let them cool, decorate (or don’t, your call), and enjoy.
