This is the perfect, quick, easy, and moreish, classic vanilla cupcake recipe to make for a family treat or your kids.

- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/4 cup self-raising flour
Instructions
- Beat together margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, vanilla, mix well.
- Sift in the flour and gradually add in milk.
- Mix well and place spoonfuls of mixture into little paper cups.
- Bake at 180 degrees C / 350 degrees F for 15 minutes.
- Let is sit on a cooling rack and once cold decorate as desired and Enjoy
