Description
Now I remember why I bought sumac! It’s for the middle eastern flavor to the ordinary meatballs.

- 1/2 kg minced lamb/beef
- 1 red onion
- 1 green pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic/ginger garlic minced
- 1 tsp sumac
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- Handful chopped coriander
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
Instructions
- Process the onion and green pepper.
- Add to the mince with the remaining ingredients.
- Mix until combined but do not over mix.
- Set aside for an hour.
- Shape into meatballs.
- Preheat the air fryer for 10 minutes.
- Set your Air fryer at 180C / 350F for 10 minutes.
- You can also bake at 80C / 350F for 25 minutes – or shallow fry.
