Alfredo Sauce for Pasta Meal. This is by far the quickest meal to prepare. The Alfredo Sauce is done before you can boil your pasta.

- 2 cups penne pasta, cooked as directed
- 8–10 slices deli ham (optional)
- Tray of mushrooms
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tbsp crushed garlic (less if you do not like Garlic that much)
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and ground black pepper
- 300 ml fresh cream
- Fresh parsley + extra parmesan for serving
Instructions
- Slice the ham into strips, then into blocks.
- Slice the mushrooms. Heat butter.
- Once foamy add garlic, ham, and mushrooms and stir till mushrooms tender.
- Stir in cream cheese until melted.
- Add cream, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Bring to a boil then reduce heat to the lowest setting.
- Add parmesan cheese and stir until cheese has melted.
- Drain pasta, stir in some butter or olive oil, and mix.
- Dish into serving bowls.
- Spoon the Alfredo sauce over, sprinkle a little parsley, parmesan, and a grinding of black pepper.
- Serve immediately.
