- 1kg mutton
- 3 potatoes
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chilies
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp dhania, also known as cilantro or coriander and jeera powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp ginger and garlic masala
- 2 tsp Kashmiri masala
- 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
- Curry leaves
- 3 cardamom (Elaichi)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 bay leaves
- 2-star aniseed
- 3 cloves
- Salt
Instructions
- Fry the onion in oil, for 5 minutes on medium heat
- Add whole spices
- Add spices, tomatoes, chili, curry leaves
- Add ginger and garlic paste
- Add mutton, salt
- Mix well
- Cook for an hour or slightly longer if you need to.
- Keep Adding very little hot water, just enough so it doesn’t stick to the pot.
- Fry potatoes, and add to mutton once mutton is cooked.
- Garnish with dhania, also known as cilantro or coriander.
