Instructions

  1. Mix egg and milk together

  3. Add salt
  4. Rub in butter
  5. Add sugar
  6. Mix lightly
  7. Gradually add the milk and egg mixture
  8. Mix gently, do not over mix
  9. Once the dough comes together
  10. Place on a floured surface, flatten till about 2 cm
  11. Cut into scone shapes
  12. Brush with egg
  13. Bake at 200C/400F for 20 minutes
