Description

This mix is sweet, crunchy, and super snackable. It’s perfect for topping salads, jazzing up a charcuterie board, or just eating by the handful. You get buttery caramel flavor, toasted nuts, and chewy cranberries, all in one bite.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3 cups mixed nuts (use your favorites—almonds, pecans, cashews, etc.)
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • About 3/4 cup sugar (a little more or less, depending on how sweet you like it)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, but delicious)

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  2. Toss in the nuts, cranberries, sugar, butter, and cinnamon.
  3. Stir the whole time, about 5 minutes, until everything’s glossy and coated.
  4. Quickly spread the mix onto parchment paper.
  5. Use two forks to pull the sticky nuts apart right away, or let them cool and break them up later with your hands.
  6. They’ll be crunchy and ready in about 5–7 minutes.

Tips:

  1. If you’re using chopped nuts, don’t make them too small; they can burn fast.
