Scale
- 3 cups mixed nuts (use your favorites—almonds, pecans, cashews, etc.)
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- About 3/4 cup sugar (a little more or less, depending on how sweet you like it)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, but delicious)
Instructions
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Toss in the nuts, cranberries, sugar, butter, and cinnamon.
- Stir the whole time, about 5 minutes, until everything’s glossy and coated.
- Quickly spread the mix onto parchment paper.
- Use two forks to pull the sticky nuts apart right away, or let them cool and break them up later with your hands.
- They’ll be crunchy and ready in about 5–7 minutes.
Tips:
- If you’re using chopped nuts, don’t make them too small; they can burn fast.
