Ingredients

Units Scale
  • Β± 1 kg Prawns, clean and washed
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken stock
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 garlic, chopped
  • 200g Grated mozzarella
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

To cook prawns

  1. Add a little butter to a pan
  2. Add chopped garlic
  3. Once the butter has melted and starts to sizzle
  4. Add prawns, sprinkle with salt and pepper
  5. Cook for 2 minutes on each side
  6. Remove prawns from the pan
  7. In the same pan, add the 3 tablespoons of butter, chopped garlic
  8. Add the wine or stock
  9. Allow to simmer, and cook until the amount of wine has reduced to half
  10. Lower heat
  11. Add cream
  12. Allow to simmer for few minutes
  13. Add cheese, the sauce will start to thicken
  14. Add prawns
  15. Check for salt
  16. Enjoy
