- Β± 1 kg Prawns, clean and washed
- 1 cup fresh cream
- 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken stock
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic, chopped
- 200g Grated mozzarella
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
To cook prawns
- Add a little butter to a pan
- Add chopped garlic
- Once the butter has melted and starts to sizzle
- Add prawns, sprinkle with salt and pepper
- Cook for 2 minutes on each side
- Remove prawns from the pan
- In the same pan, add the 3 tablespoons of butter, chopped garlic
- Add the wine or stock
- Allow to simmer, and cook until the amount of wine has reduced to half
- Lower heat
- Add cream
- Allow to simmer for few minutes
- Add cheese, the sauce will start to thicken
- Add prawns
- Check for salt
- Enjoy
