Description

Skip heavy pasta and try Creamy Vodka Sauce Wholegrain Pasta instead. It’s a great way to enjoy a creamy sauce with wholesome ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups whole-grain pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
  • 1 pack white mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cups baby spinach
  • 1 bottle Creamy Vodka Sauce Wholegrain Pasta sauce (Classico works great)
  • Roasted Garlic and Pepper seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Grated sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta until soft, then drain.
  2. While that’s boiling, heat a pan and cook the chicken until golden.
  3. Season it with salt and the garlic-pepper mix.
  4. Toss in the mushrooms and spinach.
  5. Cook everything together for about 5 minutes, just until the veggies soften.
  6. Pour in the vodka sauce and let it all simmer gently for 10 minutes.
  7. Add your cooked pasta into the pan, stir well, and let it sit for 2 minutes so the flavors soak in.
  8. Serve hot with a handful of cheddar cheese sprinkled on top.

Quick. Creamy. Totally comforting.
Give this a try, you won’t regret it.
