Description

Super simple. Juicy inside, crispy outside. Yogurt makes the chicken extra tender without any weird marinade fuss.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Dried breadcrumbs
  • A little flour (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Lightly coat the chicken in flour and give it a gentle flatten with a meat mallet or rolling pin.
  2. Stir the yogurt, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
  3. Spread a spoonful of the yogurt mix on one side of each fillet.
  4. Smooth it out with the back of the spoon.
  5. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over that yogurt-covered side until it’s fully coated.
  6. Place the fillets crumb-side down in a greased baking dish.
  7. Repeat the yogurt and breadcrumb step on the other side of each fillet.
  8. Bake at 220°C (428°F) for 30 minutes.
  9. Flip halfway through, so both sides get golden and crispy.

No frying, no mess. Just tender, juicy chicken with a crunchy coating, done in under 40 minutes. Perfect for weeknights or when you want something easy that still feels a bit special.
