Description

A slice of this Chocolate Cake with Ganache, and all your worries melt away.


Ingredients

Scale

Cake batter

Icing

  • 2 cups of Icing Sugar
  • 1/4 cup of cocoa
  • 150 g butter
  • 1/4 cup of cream

or Ganache topping


Instructions

Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 180C/350F degrees
  2. In a large bowl, sift flour, baking powder, cocoa powder
  3. Add the remaining dry ingredients and mix
  4. Add eggs, vanilla, oil, and milk and mix with an electric beater for 1 minute
  5. Add the water, and mix well
  6. Pour the batter into 2 greased baking tins
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in a preheated oven

Icing

  1. Mix well together with an electric beater

Ganache topping

  1. Heat cream until it reaches a simmer, do not boil
  2. Pour over the broken plain chocolate
  3. Mix well until it is blended
  4. Once it’s cooled, gently pour it over the cold cake.
