Description

Imagine spring without Easter Egg Bird Nests. Weird, right? These treats have a little history—they’re inspired by the charm of nature and the fun of Easter traditions. People love them because they’re easy to make, fun to share, and almost too cute to eat. Plus, there’s something magical about turning a handful of ingredients into something that makes everyone smile. Whether you’re a chocolate fan, peanut butter lover, or just here for the candy, these nests are a win all around. Ready to make your Easter a little sweeter?

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (16 oz.) Chocolate Candy
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups Chow Mein noodles
  • Cadbury Mini Eggs / Vegan Jelly Tots

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate and peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. One minute, then stir. Still lumpy? Go for 15-second intervals until it’s smooth.
  2. Dump the chocolate mix over the Chow Mein noodles in a big bowl. Stir it gently until every noodle looks like it’s been dipped in chocolate heaven.
  3. Spoon little mounds onto wax paper to create your nests!
  4. You can also spoon the mixture into a silicon mould (see images)
  5. After a minute or so, shape them with the back of a spoon to make a dip in the middle.
  6. Not to worry about perfection, when’s the last time you saw a bird’s nest that looked like it came from a mold.
  7. Let them cool until firm. Toss them in the fridge
  8. Once the nests are set, drop a few Cadbury Mini Eggs / Vegan Jelly Tots in each one.
  9. These nests are so cute, you’ll feel a little bad eating them
