Ingredients

Beef

  • 500g Ground Beef
  • 1 Large Onion
  • 1 Package of Peppers (trio)
  • 1 Punnet Mushrooms
  • 2-3 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 2 Teaspoons Ground Ginger & Garlic
  • 2 Teaspoons Dried Thyme
  • 2 Teaspoons Paprika
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Cup Water

Garlic Parmesan Mash

  • 4-5 Large Potatoes
  • 2 Spring Onions
  • 50g Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Teaspoons Dried Thyme
  • 2 Teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon ginger and garlic


Instructions

  1. Brown the beef in a pan with the ginger and garlic.
  2. Add in the chopped vegetables and cook till soft.
  3. Add the seasonings and tomato paste thinned out with the water.
  4. Cook until rich in color and the mixture has thickened.
  5. Cut the potatoes into small pieces and add to salted water. Boil till soft.
  6. Drain and mash until smooth.
  7. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  8. Spoon the mince into a baking dish.
  9. Top with the mash.
  10. Place under the grill until the cheese is melted and bubbly on the top.
  11. Serve and enjoy!!
