Description
This easy homemade lasagna recipe uses fresh herbs like sage and tarragon for a flavorful, comforting dinner. Perfect for any night.
Ingredients
I don’t use exact measurements; I eyeball it. Here’s how I make a tasty lasagna with simple ingredients.
- Chopped onion
- Crushed garlic
- Grated ginger
- Ground minced meat (around 3/4 kg)
- Sage
- Tarragon
- Curry powder (optional)
- Tomato paste
- Pasta sheets
- Cheese
- Cream (optional)
- Egg
Instructions
- In a pan, sauté plenty of chopped onions with crushed garlic and grated ginger until soft and fragrant.
- In another pan, cook the minced meat. Stir it until all the water from defrosting is gone.
- Add the sautéed onions to the meat. Mix well. Sprinkle about a teaspoon each of sage and tarragon. Add curry if you like. Stir in some tomato paste.
- In a casserole dish, spread a layer of the meat sauce evenly.
- Add a layer of pasta sheets on top. Sprinkle cheese and add a little cream if you want.
- Repeat layers of meat sauce and pasta, finishing with a top layer of cheese, cream, or beaten egg for a nice glaze.
- Bake in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 35 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy your homemade lasagna!
