- 3 cups water
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 2 cups self-raising flour *
- 5 tablespoons sugar
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
- Feel free to make only half of this recipe. You will be able to get at least 20 muffins depending on size.
- * Making self-rising (see above with ingredients list)
- Whisk the ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl or put them in a glass jar and shake well.
- Bake for ± 15-20 minutes at 375F/190C
- When cold, sprinkle liberally with cinnamon sugar.
- Enjoy with a cuppa tea or coffee and do not forget to share with your family and friends.
* Making self-rising flour at home is easy.
- For every 1 cup of all-purpose flour: Add 1½ teaspoons baking powder and ¼ teaspoon fine salt.
- **I do not add salt as the flour we have in Canada already has salt added BUT I add 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda.
