Dry Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup sugar
Wet Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups milk
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla together.
- Add the oil, water, and milk. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients.
- Whisk until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
- Heat a TawaΒ or heavy-based frying pan over medium heat.
- Pour enough batter for two pancakes at a time.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden.
- Pair with chocolate sauce, maple syrup, or fresh cream and jam for a delicious finish.
