Scale
- 1 lb fresh green beans, ends trimmed
- 2 tbsp crushed garlic
- 1 tsp fresh thyme
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Fisherman’s spice (or your favorite all-purpose herb seasoning)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 4 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Add 1 lb fresh green beans to your steamer and cook until they’re just tender but still bright green, about 8–10 minutes. Please don’t overdo it; you still want that light crunch.
- In a large saucepan or skillet, heat 4 tbsp olive oil over medium heat.
- Toss in 2 tbsp crushed garlic, 1 tsp thyme, and 1 tsp chopped rosemary.
- Let it sizzle gently for about a minute, just enough to wake up those flavors without burning the garlic.
- Add your steamed green beans to the pan, stirring well so every bean gets coated in that garlicky herb goodness.
- Sprinkle in 1 tsp Fisherman’s spice, plus salt and pepper to taste. Give it one last toss and serve warm.
- These green beans are perfect next to grilled meats, roasted chicken, or even as a light lunch with some crusty bread.
