Description

Crisp-tender green beans tossed in olive oil, garlic, and herbs for a quick, flavorful side dish. Perfect for weeknights or holiday dinners!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, ends trimmed
  • 2 tbsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Fisherman’s spice (or your favorite all-purpose herb seasoning)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 4 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Add 1 lb fresh green beans to your steamer and cook until they’re just tender but still bright green, about 8–10 minutes. Please don’t overdo it; you still want that light crunch.
  2. In a large saucepan or skillet, heat 4 tbsp olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Toss in 2 tbsp crushed garlic, 1 tsp thyme, and 1 tsp chopped rosemary.
  4. Let it sizzle gently for about a minute, just enough to wake up those flavors without burning the garlic.
  5. Add your steamed green beans to the pan, stirring well so every bean gets coated in that garlicky herb goodness.
  6. Sprinkle in 1 tsp Fisherman’s spice, plus salt and pepper to taste. Give it one last toss and serve warm.
  7. These green beans are perfect next to grilled meats, roasted chicken, or even as a light lunch with some crusty bread.
