Description
If you’ve been settling for dry, flavorless biscuits, these will change your mind fast. The combo of garlic, cheese, and yogurt makes them soft inside, golden on the edges, and ridiculously hard to stop eating.
Make them once, and they’ll become your go-to side for soups, eggs, or late-night snacks.

Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 5 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
Instructions
- Set your oven to 380°F/190°C and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- In a big bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and all the spices.
- Pour in the melted butter and stir until the mix looks crumbly.
- Toss in the chopped green onion and shredded cheese.
- Add the milk and yogurt to the center and mix gently, just enough to bring the dough together. Don’t overmix.
- Scoop big spoonfuls onto the baking sheet. You’ll get about 12.
- Bake for around 15 minutes, or until they’re lightly golden on top.
Would I make these again? Honestly, most definitely, without thinking twice. They’re easy, quick, and taste like something you’d get from a cozy café. Perfect with soup, eggs, or just warm out of the oven with a swipe of butter.
