- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp. Hot water
- 10g instant dry yeast
- 4 Tbsp. Sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3 1/4 cups bread flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 Tbsp. Cremora (milk powder)
- 40g butter (very soft)
- 1 Tbsp. Oil
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. Amasi (sour milk)
- 2 Tbsp. Plain yogurt
- 1 tsp vanilla essence

Instructions
- Mix the milk, water, sugar & dry yeast in your mixing bowl & let it froth in a warm place for 10 minutes
- Mix the egg, Amasi (sour milk), yogurt, oil & vanilla essence into the milk mixture and whisk well,
- Add it to the sifted flour, salt & Cremora (milk powder).
- Start mixing slowly until a dough is formed.
- Add the butter and knead well for about 10 minutes
- Place dough in an oiled dish & cover it with cling film or a lid
- Let it rise in a warm place until it is doubled, 1–2 hours.
- Roll out the dough to about 2 cm thickness
- Cut it out with a donut cutter & leave it to rise again for 20–30 minutes
- Deep Fry in med-low oil until light brown
- Drain well & pack it on paper towels
- Decorate as desired
