Instructions
- Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
- Stir in the apples.
- Melt butter in a pan, add in the spiced apples, and cook until softened.
- Once softened, remove from heat, and allow to cool completely.
- Roll out puff pastry, and fill with apple mixture.
- Seal the edges with water and crimp tightly to seal.
- Cut a few slits on the top to release the steam while baking, brush with egg or milk, sprinkle on cinnamon sugar and bake at 180C / 350F for 20-25 minutes.
