- 2 Tbsp Pure Chili Powder
- 1 Tbsp Chili Flakes
- 1 tsp Cumin/Jeera Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander/Dhania Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Ground Ginger
- 1 tsp Ground Garlic
- 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- Water to form a paste
- Salt to taste
- 1 1/2 cups of plain yogurt
- 1/3 cup oil
Chili Garlic Naan Bread
- 2–2 1/2 cups Flour
- 1 Tbsp. Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Warm Water
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 Package Yeast
- 1/2 cup Milk
- Chili Garlic Butter
- 1 tsp Chili Flakes
- 2 Cloves Garlic (grated)
- 1 cup + 2 tbsp Butter
Instructions
Tikka Paste
- Add the paste to 1½ cups (375 ml) of plain yogurt and 1/3 cup (78 ml) oil and mix thoroughly.
- Coats approximately 16 pieces of chicken.
Chilli Garlic Naan Bread
- Heat butter gently until melted then add in garlic & chili flakes.
- Mix the yeast and sugar into the warm water.
- Allow it to sit for about 10 minutes until it foams.
- Mix flour and salt together then pour it into the yeast mixture, oil, and milk.
- Stir well until a soft dough is formed.
- Add more water if needed at this stage.
- Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.
- Place in an oiled bowl and cover, allow rising in a warm spot for an hour.
- Once risen, divide into smaller pieces and roll out.
- Cook on a hot pan brushing either side with butter.
- Enjoy!!
