Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 Tbsp Pure Chili Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Chili Flakes
  • 1 tsp Cumin/Jeera Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander/Dhania Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 tsp Ground Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Water to form a paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups of plain yogurt
  • 1/3 cup oil

Chili Garlic Naan Bread

  • 22 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Warm Water
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 Package Yeast
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • Chili Garlic Butter
  • 1 tsp Chili Flakes
  • 2 Cloves Garlic (grated)
  • 1 cup + 2 tbsp Butter

Instructions

Tikka Paste

  1. Add the paste to 1½ cups (375 ml) of plain yogurt and 1/3 cup (78 ml) oil and mix thoroughly.
  2. Coats approximately 16 pieces of chicken.

Chilli Garlic Naan Bread

  1. Heat butter gently until melted then add in garlic & chili flakes.
  2. Mix the yeast and sugar into the warm water.
  3. Allow it to sit for about 10 minutes until it foams.
  4. Mix flour and salt together then pour it into the yeast mixture, oil, and milk.
  5. Stir well until a soft dough is formed.
  6. Add more water if needed at this stage.
  7. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.
  8. Place in an oiled bowl and cover, allow rising in a warm spot for an hour.
  9. Once risen, divide into smaller pieces and roll out.
  10. Cook on a hot pan brushing either side with butter.
  11. Enjoy!!
