Description

Super delicious, and oh so tender chicken thighs prepared in an Instant Pot with a delicious buttery and lemon juice sauce. You will ask for more each and every time, it’s so good!

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle the garlic powder, chicken spice, salt, pepper, and paprika over the chicken and coat evenly.
  2. Set your Instant Pot to sauté and melt the butter with the garlic paste.
  3. Add the chicken to the pot, cooking in batches, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until brown. Turn all the chicken to the pot.
  4. Add the stock and lemon juice to the pot. Top with the lemon slices.
  5. Add the lid and set the valve to seal. Cook over high pressure for 6 minutes.
  6. Allow to naturally release for 3 minutes, and then do a quick release.
  7. Remove the chicken from the pot and allow to rest.
  8. Discard the lemon slices.
  9. Set the pot to sauté and add in heavy cream. (You can add more if you would like more sauce.)
  10. Add cornstarch slurry and cook for about 3 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
  11. Plate the chicken and drizzle with the sauce. Serve with your favorite sides.
