This Microwave Milk Tart with condensed milk is ready in under 20 minutes. Old school flavor without the wait.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 385 g (1 can) condensed milk
  • 1 can full cream milk (use the condensed milk tin to measure)
  • 2 cans hot water (same tin for measuring)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 6 tbsp corn-starch (Maizena), sifted
  • Pinch of salt
  • 200 g Tennis or Marie biscuits

  1. In a large microwave-safe mixing bowl, whisk condensed milk, milk, hot water, butter, eggs, cornstarch, and salt until lump-free.
  2. Microwave on HIGH for 7 minutes. Remove, whisk well.
  3. Microwave another 5 minutes. Remove, whisk again.
  4. Microwave for 3 more minutes. Whisk until silky smooth.
  5. Arrange biscuits in a single layer in a deep dish (line neatly for even layers).
