Description

A melt-in-mouth cardamom-flavored buttery soft, sweet, and perfectly crisp IndianΒ shortbread biscuit. These cookies are simple and easy to make, but a firm favorite in any IndianΒ household.

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar together.
  2. Add oil, and mix well.
  3. Add nutmeg, cardamom, and semolina, crushed almonds.
  4. Mix well and add flour, baking powder, and bicarbonate of soda.
  5. Make it into a soft dough.
  6. Break into little balls, do not press down.
  7. Place on a baking sheet.
  8. Place a sliced almond as decoration ontop of the dough.
  9. Bake at 180C degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
  10. Enjoy
