Description

With bright berries and creamy texture, Strawberry Delight Jelly Dessert looks straight out of a bakery window. You’ll love how effortless they are.  The layers set perfectly while you relax.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 packets strawberry jelly
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, halved
  • 1/2 cup ideal milk (evaporated milk)
  • 1/2 cup strawberry yogurt

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine ½ cup water, ½ cup sugar, and 1½ cups halved strawberries. Cook over medium heat until the strawberries are soft and the liquid has slightly thickened.
  2. This should take about 6–8 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
  3. Prepare 2 packets of strawberry jelly using 1 cup of hot water and 1 cup of cold water.
  4. Stir until the jelly powder dissolves fully.
  5. Set it aside to cool to room temperature (don’t rush this; if it’s too warm, it’ll curdle the milk layer).
  6. Once the jelly has cooled, pour half of the jelly mixture into a mixing bowl.
  7. Whisk in ½ cup of ideal milk (evaporated milk) and ½ cup of strawberry yogurt until smooth and creamy.
  8. Pour the creamy jelly mix into martini glasses (or any small dessert glasses).
  9. Pop them into the fridge for about an hour, or until the layer sets.
  10. Once the creamy layer is firm, gently pour the remaining half of the strawberry jelly on top.
  11. Chill again until completely set, which should take around another hour.
  12. Spoon the cooled strawberries (from step 1) over the top of each set of jelly.
  13. Garnish with a fresh mint leaf and a few strawberry slices.
  14. Serve chilled and enjoy your little glass of strawberry heaven!
