Description

Easy oven-baked Tandoori Chicken with bold spices and lemon. Simple, flavorful, and perfect for dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken legs and thighs
  • 1 tbsp tandoori masala
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • Fresh chilies, chopped (to taste)
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine tandoori masala, ginger garlic paste, chilies, turmeric, lemon juice, tomato paste, olive oil, and salt.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and coat well with the marinade.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (overnight gives the best flavor).
  4. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  5. Bake chicken on a lined tray for 35–40 minutes, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
  6. Serve hot with naan, rice, or salad.
