Syrup

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 stick of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix the egg and sugar together.
  2. Add mashed banana and then the dry ingredients.
  3. Lastly add milk and mix well.
  4. Deep fry in oil.

Syrup

  • Boil the syrup ingredients until you have a syrup.

This is only half a recipe, but feel free to double up.

When you use buttermilk and cake flour you may wish to add a little more flour to the batter. You will be pleasantly surprised by the wonderful flavor. Yes, it’s different from the original flavor but a great change.
