Description

Only two ingredients stand between you and this rich dessert. Whip, chill, and enjoy. The easiest chocolate mousse you’ll ever make

Ingredients

Units Scale
  1. 100 g dark chocolate (60-70% works best)
  2. 1 packet double cream
  3. 1-2 tbsp powdered sugar (optional, if you like it sweeter)

Instructions

  1. Break chocolate into pieces and melt in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or, if you prefer, in the microwave at short 30-second intervals.
  2. Stir until smooth. Let it cool slightly for 5 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form. Add sugar (optional) here if you’re using it.
  4. Slowly fold the cooled chocolate into the whipped cream. Take your time so it stays airy.
  5. Divide into small glasses or cups and chill for 1–2 hours until set.
  6. Serve with extra cream, shaved chocolate, berries, or a sprinkle of crushed biscuits for crunch.
