Craving something spicy and delicious? These Hot Zinger Wraps are the perfect solution, itβs packed with fiery flavors and wrapped up in a soft, warm tortilla, they’re the ultimate comfort food. Give your taste buds a treat they won’t forget.

Chicken meat
- 1kg chicken fillets Cut into strips (washed & drained well)
Marinade:
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp BBQ Spice
- 1 tsp chicken spice
- 1/2 tsp Aromat
- 1 tsp garlic/ginger
- 1 tsp dhania/jeera (Coriander)
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup buttermilk/Amasi
Coating
- 2 cups of cake flour
- 1/2 cup Maizena
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Aromat
Assembling
- 1 tbsp per wrap PERinaise sauce (but feel free to add more)
- 1/2 head of lettuce
- 12 slices of cheese
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into strips (washed & drained well)
- Mix all the marinade ingredients, then add the chicken pieces, and let it sit for 2-3 hours.
- In a separate bowl mix the coating with most of the sauce from the marinade, about Β½ cup.
- The best would be to crumb the chicken strips by hand.
- Dip the strips & coat them well.
- Then Dip it again before deep frying it in medium hot oil until done.
Zinger Strips Baked - You can use any tortillas, although here we used garlic & herb tortillas.

To assemble
- Spread some PERinaise (creamy mayonnaise and Peri-peri chilies) in the center of a tortilla.
Zinger Wraps cut - Add lettuce, sliced cheese, and strips, and close with a toothpick.
