Hot Tasty Zinger Chicken Wraps

Craving something spicy and delicious? These Hot Zinger Wraps are the perfect solution, it’s packed with fiery flavors and wrapped up in a soft, warm tortilla, they’re the ultimate comfort food. Give your taste buds a treat they won’t forget.


Units Scale

Chicken meat

  • 1kg chicken fillets Cut into strips (washed & drained well)


  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp BBQ Spice
  • 1 tsp chicken spice
  • 1/2 tsp Aromat
  • 1 tsp garlic/ginger
  • 1 tsp dhania/jeera (Coriander)
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk/Amasi



  • 1 tbsp per wrap PERinaise sauce (but feel free to add more)
  • 1/2 head of lettuce
  • 12 slices of cheese


  1. Cut the chicken into strips (washed & drained well)
  2. Mix all the marinade ingredients, then add the chicken pieces, and let it sit for 2-3 hours.
  3. In a separate bowl mix the coating with most of the sauce from the marinade, about Β½ cup.
  4. The best would be to crumb the chicken strips by hand.
  5. Dip the strips & coat them well.
  6. Then Dip it again before deep frying it in medium hot oil until done.

  7. You can use any tortillas, although here we used garlic & herb tortillas.

To assemble

  1. Spread some PERinaise (creamy mayonnaise and Peri-peri chilies) in the center of a tortilla.

  2. Add lettuce, sliced cheese, and strips, and close with a toothpick.
