Description

My mom-in-law asked me to make Apo Appam Crepes for her. I did not even know you have to soak it overnight until I read the recipe, I used her recipe, she loves it.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 250 g semolina
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • Add 1 egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix all the following ingredients: semolina, flour, yeast, and warm water, and soak it overnight.
  2. Then add the egg, baking powder, and sugar
  3. Mix well. It should be a nice thick pancake batter.
  4. Pour into a jug
  5. Use a Tawa or non-stick pan
  6. On medium heat add half tsp oil to the Tava and pour a litter batter into the pan.
  7. Once bubbles appear, turn it over and cook until a golden-brown color.
  8. Serve with cinnamon sugar and enjoy!
