Tart:
- 1 tin apple pie filling
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 2 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 3 eggs
- 65 ml milk
Sauce:
- 1 tin Ideal Milk (evaporated milk)
- 125 ml brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
Instructions
Tart
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine all tart ingredients until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
Sauce
- In a small saucepan, heat Ideal Milk, brown sugar, and vanilla essence over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is hot.
- Remove the tart from the oven and immediately pour the warm sauce over it.
- Serve hot with custard or cream.
