Ingredients

  • 1-1 1/2 cups frozen blackberries
  • 1 banana
  • 4 heaped tbsp Greek low-fat yogurt
  • 4 Medjool dates, pitted
  • A small handful of cashew nuts
  • Unsweetened coconut milk, enough to blend
  • Slivered almonds, for decoration and a bit of crunch

Instructions

  1. Grab your blender and toss in 1–1½ cups frozen blackberries, 1 banana, 4 heaped tbsp Greek low-fat yogurt, 4 Medjool dates, and a small handful of cashew nuts.
  2. Pour in just enough unsweetened coconut milk to get everything moving smoothly.
  3. Blitz the mixture until silky smooth, but don’t stress if a few bits of nuts remain, that’s kinda nice!
  4. Pour into your favorite glass and sprinkle a few slivered almonds on top for a little crunch.
  5. Sip immediately and enjoy that fresh, fruity start to your day!
