Description

Why Chicken Livers Belong on Your Breakfast Table.
This creamy, spicy recipe will surprise you, and it might just become your go-to morning meal.

Ingredients

The quantities are totally up to you, just adjust based on how many mouths you’re feeding and how hungry they are.

Instructions

  1. Wash the chicken livers and cut them into bite-sized chunks.
  2. Slice an onion in half, then chop it into smaller pieces.
  3. Heat a pan and sauté the onions until golden.
  4. Add garlic (we go heavy here because, well, garlic makes everything better) and let it cook for about a minute.
  5. Scoop the onion and garlic out and set them aside.
  6. In the same pan, fry the livers until they’re cooked through.
  7. Sprinkle in some cayenne pepper for a bit of heat, and add as much or as little as you like. Give it a moment to really mingle with the livers.
  8. Toss the onions and garlic back into the pan.
  9. Pour in some cream, stir it all up, and let it cook for another 2–3 minutes.
  10. That’s it, you’re ready to serve!

How to Enjoy It

We like to keep it simple: pile that creamy, spicy liver mixture onto a slice of warm, toasty brown bread. Pair it with a hot cup of coffee, and you’ve got yourself a breakfast that’s satisfying and packed with flavor.

Why This Recipe Wins

If you’re a fan of bold, comforting dishes, this one’s a winner. It’s rich, hearty, and comes together in no time. Plus, there’s something so nostalgic about the combination of creamy livers and crusty toast, it’s the kind of meal that sticks with you (in a good way).

So, are you ready to give it a go?
