Description

Do try these Classic chocolate chip cookies taken up a notch with brown sugar and chocolate chips.

Instructions

  1. I used unsweetened chocolate chips and a sugar alternative so you may add sugar to your liking.
  2. Sift the dry ingredients and set them aside.
  3. Cream butter and sugar together.
  4. Add in the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
  5. Gradually add in the dry ingredients and mix till combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Form mixture into a log shape and press onto cling film.
  8. Roll tightly and set in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.
  9. Cut into discs and place on a lined baking sheet leaving enough room for expansion.
  10. Bake at 180C / 350F for 15-20 minutes until the edges turn light brown.
  11. Allow the cookies to cool completely before removing and enjoy!!
