Ingredients
- 1 can of full-fat coconut milk
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Pour the coconut milk and maple syrup into a medium-sized saucepan.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, then whisk everything together until it’s silky smooth.
- Toss in a pinch of salt and the vanilla extract, then give it another good whisk.
- Set the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t bubble over.
- Once it’s boiling, turn the heat down and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, whisking often. You’ll see it start to thicken up into a pudding-like consistency.
