- 1/2 cucumber, chopped into tiny cubes (lightly squeeze out extra water)
- 2 cups thick plain yogurt (Greek works well)
- 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder (optional but adds depth)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, a pinch
- 1 chili, chopped (optional for heat)
- Squeeze of lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Chop the cucumber finely and press gently with a paper towel to remove excess water.
- Stir together yogurt, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Fold in the cucumber and chili if using.
- Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice and coriander on top.
- Chill for 10 minutes before serving if you have time; it tastes even better cold.
