Icing

ALTERNATIVE: Ganache Topping

  • 1/2 cup fresh cream
  • 2 slabs plain chocolate, broken into pieces.

Instructions

Batter Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, sift flour and baking powder, cocoa powder.
  3. Add the rest of the dry ingredients.
  4. Then, add eggs, vanilla, oil, and milk.
  5. Mix with an electric beater for 1 minute.
  6. Then add water, mix well.
  7. Pour the batter into 2 greased baking tins.
  8. Bake for 25 to 30 mins.
  9. Icing:
  10. Mix well together with an electric beater!

Ganache Topping:

  1. Heat cream until it reaches a simmer, do not boil.
  2. Pour over broken chocolate pieces.
  3. Mix well until it’s well blended.
  4. Once it’s cooled, pour over the cooled cake gently.
