Description

These Fruit Pie Bites are buttery, sweet, and spiced just right. Think of a mini pie wrapped in a soft, golden crescent roll. They’re ridiculously easy to make and pair perfectly with your morning coffee or afternoon tea.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/4 cup Demerara sugar (or any brown sugar you have)
  • 1 teaspoon apple pie spice (or just mix cinnamon and allspice)
  • A little extra spice for sprinkling
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 small apple (sliced into 8 pieces) or use peach slices instead
  • 1 can Pillsbury Original crescent rolls (8-ounce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the brown sugar and spices in a small bowl. Set aside.
  3. Toss the fruit slices in melted butter and set aside.
  4. Lay out the crescent roll dough on the baking sheet.
  5. Sprinkle the sugar mix over each triangle.
  6. Add a sprinkle of chopped nuts on top.
  7. Place a fruit slice at the wide end of each triangle.
  8. Roll them up like little croissants.
  9. Brush with the leftover melted butter and a pinch more spice on top.
  10. Bake for about 25 minutes, until golden and crisp.
  11. Let them cool for 5 minutes before digging in.

Quick Tip:

If you don’t have apple pie spice, make your own:

  • 4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cardamom or allspice

Double the fun: Try one batch with apple and another with peach. Both are amazing.
