These Fruit Pie Bites are buttery, sweet, and spiced just right. Think of a mini pie wrapped in a soft, golden crescent roll. They’re ridiculously easy to make and pair perfectly with your morning coffee or afternoon tea.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Demerara sugar (or any brown sugar you have)
- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice (or just mix cinnamon and allspice)
- A little extra spice for sprinkling
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 small apple (sliced into 8 pieces) or use peach slices instead
- 1 can Pillsbury Original crescent rolls (8-ounce)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (180Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the brown sugar and spices in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Toss the fruit slices in melted butter and set aside.
- Lay out the crescent roll dough on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the sugar mix over each triangle.
- Add a sprinkle of chopped nuts on top.
- Place a fruit slice at the wide end of each triangle.
