Description

Soft, chewy and packed with Milo flavour, these little coconut coated bites are ridiculously easy to make. You only need a handful of ingredients, and honestly, they’re the kind of treat I’d happily keep tucked in the fridge for when a sweet craving hits.

Instructions

  1. Put 1 packet of Marie biscuits into a large bowl and crush them until they’re fine, with just a few tiny crumbs left. You don’t want big chunks because they’ll make the mixture harder to roll.
  2. Add 4 tbsp Milo and 1/2 cup desiccated coconut to the crushed Marie biscuits. If you’re using cocoa instead, add 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder.
  3. Pour in 1 tin sweetened condensed milk and mix everything really well. The mixture should be thick, sticky and easy enough to press together.
  4. If the mixture feels too sticky to handle, pop the bowl into the fridge for 10 to 15 minutes. This little step makes rolling much less messy.
  5. Take about 1 tsp of the mixture at a time and roll it between your palms to make small balls.
  6. Roll each ball in extra desiccated coconut until completely coated.
  7. Place the Milo Coconut Snowballs in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
  8. Keep the Milo Coconut Snowballs refrigerated in an airtight container.
