Description
Golden milk is a delicious drink loaded with antioxidants that may provide an array of health benefits, ranging from a healthier brain and heart to stronger bones, improved digestion, and a lower risk of disease.

- 2c milk of choice
- 1 1/2 tsp fresh finely grated turmeric
- 1 tsp fresh finely grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp ground elaichi (cardamom)
- 1/4 tsp. fresh cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil
- 1 tbsp. honey, maple syrup or sweetener
Instructions
- In a saucepan over low heat add milk then spices, whisk until well combined.
- Simmer for 5 min, but DO NOT boil it.
- Whisk occasionally and remove from heat.
- Strain and stir in the coconut oil and sweetener.
- Froth with an electric whisk and top with fresh cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon.
