

Golden Milk Turmeric Latte
A hearty and delicious drink

Ingredients

2c milk of choice
-
1½ tsp fresh finely grated turmeric
-
1 tsp fresh finely grated ginger
-
½ tsp ground cinnamon
-
1/8 tsp ground cloves
-
1/8 tsp ground elaichi (cardamom)
-
¼ tsp. fresh cracked black pepper
-
1 tbsp. coconut oil
-
1 tbsp. honey, maple syrup or sweetener
Instructions
In a saucepan over low heat add milk then spices, whisk until well combined.
Simmer for 5 min, but DO NOT boil it.
Whisk occasionally and remove from heat.
Strain and stir in the coconut oil and sweetener.
Froth with an electric whisk and top with fresh cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon.
