Description

This fusion of classic Swedish technique with nutrient-packed sweet potatoes delivers taste and health benefits in every bite.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Sweet Potato
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter (melted)
  • Olive Oil
  • Sour Cream

Instructions

  1. Rinse the Sweet Potato and pat dry.
  2. Cut slices into the potato almost all the way through, but stop before you reach the bottom.
  3. Mix all the seasonings in a bowl.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the Sweet Potato and in between the slits.
  5. Sprinkle generously with the seasonings.
  6. Place on a piece of foil and bake in the oven at 180C / 350F for about 30 minutes, or until Sweet Potato is tender when poked.
  7. Remove from oven and brush with melted butter.
  8. Garnish with fresh thyme.
  9. Serve with sour cream and enjoy!!
