Description

Daltjies aka Chili Bites: Crispy, spicy, and irresistibly delicious!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 packet Packo chili bite (usually 250g boxes)
  • 1/2 cup of cake flour
  • 1/2 cup chana flour (chickpea flour, gram flour, or besan)
  • 1 red onion chopped.
  • Chopped spinach
  • 1 teaspoon ginger & garlic masala
  • 1 teaspoon mild Kashmiri chili powder, turmeric, jeera
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 egg
  • Water enough to make a dropping consistency
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients to a soft mixture, not too stiff
  2. Grate one potato and add the baking powder into the batter lastly.
  3. Deep fry in oil
