Homemade Chili Bites (Daltjies)

Description
Daltjies aka Chili Bites: Crispy, spicy, and irresistibly delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 packet Packo chili bite (usually 250g boxes)
- 1/2 cup of cake flour
- 1/2 cup chana flour (chickpea flour, gram flour, or besan)
- 1 red onion chopped.
- Chopped spinach
- 1 teaspoon ginger & garlic masala
- 1 teaspoon mild Kashmiri chili powder, turmeric, jeera
- Salt to taste
- 1 egg
- Water enough to make a dropping consistency
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients to a soft mixture, not too stiff
- Grate one potato and add the baking powder into the batter lastly.
- Deep fry in oil
