Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 300400g Minced Beef/Lamb
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 Cloves Garlic (grated)
  • 1 tbsp. Cumin
  • 1 tbsp. Paprika
  • 1 tbsp. Oregano
  • 1 cup Pureed Tomatoes
  • Grated Pepper Jack/ Cheddar Cheese
  • Chopped Spring Onion (topping)
  • Chopped Red Onion (topping)
  • Chopped Dill Pickles (topping)
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the meat in a pan breaking it up with a fork.
  2. Add in the onion and garlic and cook till soft.
  3. Pour in the tomatoes, add all the spices and allow it to cook for about 15-20 minutes until it thickens.
  4. Sprinkle a layer of cheese on the roll, spoon on chili, and lay the Vienna over.
  5. Spoon on more chili, top with extra cheese then sprinkle on the toppings.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!!
