When you are diabetic but crave a sweet treat, you make your own Flipz (chocolate-covered pretzels) and roasted nut bark with both white & milk and no-sugar-added chocolate.


Units Scale

Chocolate Pretzels

  • 350g Salted Baked Pretzels
  • 2 cups White Chocolate Pieces
  • 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil

Chocolate Bark

  • 2 cups Salted Mixed Nuts
  • 2 cups Milk Chocolate Pieces
  • 2 cups White Chocolate Pieces
  • 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil


Chocolate Pretzels

  1. Melt chocolate then you will stir in the coconut oil and mix till smooth and silky.
  2. Lay pretzels on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Spoon the chocolate over each pretzel until fully covered.
  4. Place in the freezer till set.
  5. Store in an airtight jar and enjoy!!

Chocolate Bark

  1. Lay nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 10-15 minutes or until it starts to slightly brown.
  2. Melt the chocolate and stir in the coconut oil.
  3. Roughly chop up the nuts and add to the melted chocolate.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking sheet and spread to your desired thickness.
  5. Place in a freezer to set till firm.
  6. Remove from the freezer once set and turn out, break into pieces, and store in
    an airtight jar.
