Description

This Instant Pot Lamb Stew is comfort food at its finest with a hearty, tender, and full of flavor, and the perfect dish for family and friends.


Ingredients

  • 600 g lamb pieces marinated with a few shakes of
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • BBQ spice
  • Thyme and a splash of
  • Soy or Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 3 potatoes quartered
  • 1/4 cabbage, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp braising spice
  • Piece of cinnamon
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 2 tbsp cubed butter

Instructions

  1. Set Instant Pot to saute.
  2. Add some oil.
  3. Add onion and seeds, braising spice, and cinnamon.
  4. Sautè until the onion is soft.
  5. Add meat and garlic and braise until color changes.
  6. Add stock.
  7. Cancel and turn to pressure cook on high for 20 minutes.
  8. Cancel and quick release.
  9. Add the potatoes, then sprinkle with some Aromat and black pepper, then add
    the cabbage.
  10. Add butter and also sprinkle with Aromat and black pepper.
  11. Pressure cook for another 7 minutes.
  12. Serve with rice.
