Description

A showstopper dessert that’s fun, colorful, and easy to make ahead. All you need is jelly, condensed milk, and gelatin. Perfect for parties or hot days when you want something cold, creamy, and a little nostalgic.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 packets of jelly (each a different color)
  • 4 cups boiling water (1 cup per jelly flavor)
  • 2 sachets gelatin
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water (for the gelatin mix)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. In four separate bowls, mix each jelly packet with 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved.
  2. Let all the jelly bowls set in the fridge until firm.
  3. Once set, cut the jelly into small cubes.
  4. Lightly spray a jelly or ring mold with non-stick spray.
  5. Fill it with the mixed jelly cubes.
  6. In a separate bowl, add the gelatin to ½ cup cold water. Let it sit until spongy.
  7. Add 1½ cups boiling water to the gelatin and stir until smooth.
  8. Stir in the can of condensed milk and let the mixture cool completely (don’t rush this or it might melt the jelly cubes).
  9. Once cool, pour the creamy mixture slowly over the jelly cubes in the mold.
  10. Refrigerate until fully set, this usually takes about 3 hours.

To serve:

  1. Flip it out of the mold and pair it with fresh fruit salad, whipped cream, or ice cream
