Easy No Yeast Cinnamon Bread with Cinnamon Sugar Swirl

Description

If you love the smell of cinnamon filling the kitchen, this No Yeast Cinnamon Bread is your new favorite bake. It’s soft, sweet, and swirled with cinnamon sugar, topped with a light glaze that makes every slice taste like dessert. Best of all, there’s no yeast or waiting time,  just mix, bake, and enjoy.


Ingredients

Bread:

Cinnamon Swirl:

  • 1/3 cup muscovado or regular sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled

Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 teaspoons cream or milk (for consistency)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease or spray a glass loaf tin.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk egg, milk, vanilla, and yogurt (or sour cream).
  4. Stir in the dry ingredients just until combined. Pour batter into loaf pan.
  5. Mix the swirl ingredients in a small bowl.
  6. Drop spoonfuls over the batter and gently swirl with a knife. Don’t overmix.
  7. Bake 40–50 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool 15 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. For glaze, whisk powdered sugar with milk or cream until smooth.
  10. Drizzle over cooled bread.
